OK, I'm starting to get what's wrong with this site.

Well It's been awhile since I've looked at the 'Build the Site" thing. Yeah, it's full of porn spam and other bullshit. Just ignore that in the future. Someone's asleep at the wheel, but we can still use this forum as a tool to exchange info on our amps and other Earth Sound products. Hell, I just recorded an album for a pretty major label in Europe. My weapon of choice: Earth Sound Research B 2000 Superbass amp. Awesome fat, rich, bass sound with little or no noise. Keep the faith, you'all, we still have a cool deal going here. Regards, Gray from Doomshade.

Small Bunch of us Left

I think there are just a few of us left. How many amps did Earth actually sell. 20k or so? Half are not working or scrapped. Another 1/2 in closets. Doesn't leave many on the market, or in use. A few hundred max? Even fewer people who care enough to find this site and actually post.

So for me this site is great..... I have two of the remaining working 1961 112 Earth Amps on the planet. :-)

I post when I can help.

Enjoy,

I'm one of the small bunch.

Yeah, it's sad but true, most of the posts you see are from someone who just dug one out of the closet, or inherited one, and they want to know what it's worth so they can unload it on feebay. I've got 2 b2000's, and I gig them in conjuction with my 69 Marshall Major. The Marshall is crazy loud, but doesn't like distortion, so the trusty ESR Superbass's are CRANKED! They love that nasty 60's bass sound! You can not break one of these things. I've got one that has so much silver on the tube envelopes that you cannot hardly see the inside of the tube! That's three of the tubes. The fourth tube is an OLD (can't think of the name, has an envelope shaped like a small KT88) tube that is stamped "11/54"! That's older than me. I bought it that way, and why change it? It'll likely just catch fire some evening while I'm blasting away on stage. Anyway I'm rambling now. Stay in touch, you'all.....we misfits have to stick together. Regards, Corey from Graven Image/Doomshade BTW< I need another B2000 tube amp, or two.
