Does anybody know anything about these? The guitarist in my band bought a fullstack off of a friend, and no one seems to know anything about it. As far as we can tell, they don't even exist outside of his. It looks/has controls VERY similar to a Marshall Major, and it's louder than anything i've ever heard in my entire life. Any ideas?

Purchased my Earth KT3000 stack back in the mid 1970's used. They do bear a strong resemblence to a Marshall stack in appearance and the setup is definitely loud (I don't have many opportunities to play at full volume). I haven't seen another set like mine since. Had some additional work right after I purchased to further customize the head which was performed by Dennis Electronics when they were still around. Just starting to begin to play again after being away for more than twenty-five years so I'm happy that I located this site. This is the only way I have been able to find out more about Earth Research and their work.

Yo man, I just stumbled

Yo man, I just stumbled across this site looking for info on Earth stuff. I own a KT-3000. I bought it off of ebay about four years ago. I have it modded to a master volume and it just kills everything in site. I thought for a long time I was the only one who had one, but saw another one on ebay about a year ago. I totally would have bought it if I had the money at the time. Any ways it's good to see this site up and get to talk to some folks that just want to learn a little history behind these great amps!!!
