Blue glow in tubes

Blue glow in power tubes is normal and nothing to worry about. See the Blue Glow In Tubes FAQ.

If any of your output tubes don't have the blue glow when the others do, I would worry about that, as it could be a sign of a problem.

Without seeing it I can only

Without seeing it I can only guess that it probably is the bias adjustment potentiometer. Does it have a screwdriver slot?

No it doesent. It is a cylindrical shaft @ 1/2 " tall. To tell you the truth I dont like the sound at all (its sweet as hell on low vol. but gets muddy as hell when you start going up)and I think the head needs redone after 36 yrs. and everybody is either hands off or they know all about it which is 90% bull. I am going to contact ken schecter (daytopper) and see if he can possibly help me with some specs. As for the 18" infinity spkr in the cab - its a bitch to get out ; but Im thinking of tearing up the room its in anyways. - winter is coming..... again, thankx tboy.
