G-1000

Hi
I have a G-1000 head that someones kid installed drums screws into randon sections of the circitury
while energized. So i also now need a schematic. But i was wondering is there any hope of this Rare brand of amps value to increase?

Doesn't sound like yours will. What the hell is a drum screw and why did this jackass kid do that? He needs punched.

Truthfully, these are cool amps, and are getting more rare, but they'll never be "highly sought-after" collector's amps. They were typically considered to be lower-end or knock-offs of other amps. They're still a good grab because you can find them around for a couple hundred bucks or less or (better yet) free. That makes them a good 'bang for the buck'. Easy to mod and fix, etc.

Be happy with it for what it is, fix it up, and play the shit out of it. The G1000 sounds pretty good, as the circuit was copied from the 60's bandmaster circuit (yes, you will hear this countless freakin' times on this board and everywhere else you can find a paragraph written about these amps).

It's Alive!!!!!

I used the G-2000 schematic and replaced the cap @ (C1) and 680 ohm resister and cap @point (B)also the 1000 ohm resister in the middle of these voltage points and she Lives, sounds a little muddy
not alot of briteness ,vibrato not working I'll proability have to make a photo coupler. But it beats a boat anchor.
Thanks to you Guys
