It is an Earth

Hi
I must admit I didn't see the very small line on the top, where it's writtenEarth Sound Research. And the guy i bought it form, who owned it since 79, havent ever noticed that. In fact he sold as unknown!

I've got this from mr. Paul, thank you Paul:

Hello,
That amp you have there is a Earth Sound Research amp its a model 1960,, it was made from 1975 to 1977... its Part of a series called The "Revival" series ... The revival series were all tweed models.
they (ALL) have a Solidstate Preamp with Tube Output.... they either came in (2) 6L6 output tubes (60) watts RMS or they came with (4) 6L6 output tubes (110) watts RMS the Revival series had about 10 different models all the same chassis either 2 or 4 output tube and all had solidstate preamps...
I have many of these and love them because they have a amazing warm tube sound for haveing a solidstate Preamp ... and you can get them pretty cheap still ,, there cabinets came in many configurations..... 1-12, 2-12 , 1-15, 2-15, 4-10, 6-10

Enjoy the amp... and dont let go of it.. there are not alot of them around... if you get a new amp stick your earth in a closet somewhere.. cuz if you sell it....down the road like in 10 years you will kick yourself for letting it go

Cheers.................. Paul

I think so

It looks like a member of the Earth Revival series. Solid state preamp driving a tube power amp, around 50 watts.

It is a 1961 112 Revival (Probably early to mid 70's)

Earth Sound Research - 1961 112 Revival, 60 Watts. There is a schematic on this site somewhere.

I own two of them. One in great shape, the other not quite so good and in need of some work. The 1st I have had since 1972. The better one picked up a couple of years back. I also recently replaced a Univox Super Fuzz that I had in the 70's. The Fuzz and the Earth are a great pair.

Nice little amps, loud and with a great tone. Do you like yours?

If you are having sound problems check the tubes. That was all it took to get my new one sounding good.

Enjoy...
