I have an Earth amp head hidden away in some dark corner of my basement. It's a 100 watt tube model w/reverb, covered in black diamond-tuft upholstery. I'll post more details next time I stumble across it.
I have a matching black diamond tucknroll 2x15 bass cab on rollers, all original. Anybody near So Cal and interested in it for Cheeeeap? PM me if interested
This is awesome!! I have an Earth tube amp. I bought it in 1978. It looks like a tweed bassman but it has 4 8" alnico speakers. I think it's a 40 watter. I used to hook it up to my 4x12 Marshall cab. It has been out of commission for about 3 years now. I had a problem with it that one of the caps (silver canister, I think 450 uf) would blow and white creamy goo would come out of it. The last time it happened I just wired the single one to both leads & it eventually stopped working. Don't know what fried but I sure want to get it back up & working again. Any body who can help please respond.
Thanks
i just got an earth g-100-nad i have a couple ?s-how many watss is this thing-its super loud, its got 4 6550s in it,also what is the speaker impedance-it doesnt say on the back and oh yeah the serial # is 10212.....two of the tubes glow blue as well-i think this bad?
I have a Earth Super Bass Module 440 that I picked up a while back. I LOVE it!! I don't know much about it other than it has a ton of power and it sounds killer! Good to see these forgotten gems have a fanclub!
I've got an Earth Sound Research Super guitar g-2000. Which is basically a copy of the Fender Twin reverb. It sounds fantastic... 100 watts, black tuck-n-roll. I love it.. thing is.. the guys i bought it from didnt give me a reverb tank with it. bummed me.. but whatever. I got mine for 400.. and wow. It's just about one of the best amps i've ever heard.. and for 400.. its a steal man haha. anyway.. my view on it is that earth sound got sued by peavey and fender for making like exact copies..just about. but yeah.. good luck trying to find one lol.
i'm rocking a b-2000. it has the padded upholstery, but it's not original. mine was a steal, too. $300. no one seems to know how awesome these things are. suckers.
i play through both channels, one for bright and twangy highs, the other for the deep bass rumble. it works out for me because i play a baritone/bass double neck in my main band, and i also mess around with a rickenbacker stereo bass when i'm jamming with others.
i also have a big peavy styled esr bass cab. it's got rear facing speakers, which were blown when i bought it for 50 bucks. replaced with jbl k 130s and sounding sweet. i get tone compliments all the time.
Just picked this baby up. Four 6L6GC in it with an accutronics long spring reverb. Its a 4x10 combo. The control panel is a dead ringer for a Fender 59 Bassman combo, but it has reverb and also a pre gain volume and master volume, and a ground polarity switch up front unlike the Bassman panel layout. (Of coarse internally its all different, but they sure had the panel look and otherwise in mind, no doubt about it.) Four input jacks, controls all go to 12, you name it, it says Bassman copy all over it. Anyone want to guess what year the Fender Bassman came out? (1954 I do believe...) So that M1954 model number isn't any coincidence I don't think... This one of mine has four Eminence tens in it and sounds just fantastic. Solid state preamp though, but no drawback that I can hear. Its a seriously GOOD sounding amp, and I have lots of Fender and Peavey tube amps here to compare it with. Its a contender hands down. But I gotta say the cabinet build is pretty poor. Dark grey carpet over cheap 7/8s inch particle board. Cheap crumbly particle board at that. No tuck and roll here dangit... I plan on making a new nice solid hardwood cabinet out of some solid one inch stock I have on hand then giving it the tweed treatment. Can't wait to hear it reborn inside that! Man this is a lost jewel as far as I'm concerned. Some people out here in tube amp la la land are dissin' on these because they don't say Fender or Marshal on them.... Yeah; well I didn't pay three stinkin' grand for it either you dingbats, so take that! Its gotta be at least 60 watts. Keeps right up with my new Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and that saying something; them suckers is LOUD... Hows 60 bucks strike you guys for a deal? heh heh; some of you boutique freaks and mental masturbators all hung up on name brand logos really should start listening with your ears instead of your eyes. I'll tell ya what; I'll take this over any Fender OR Marshal for the money I saved. Hell I can go out and buy a new Les Paul with that kind of dough! I was flat out overjoyed and still am! I'll post some pictures later and keep a record of the rebuild. Only problem I'm having right now is shutting it off long enough to start the rebuild project! All good things must wait. This is gonna be a great site I think. The few people who own these amps seem to understand that build quality aside, stolen copy design lawsuit or whatever, these are some seriously GOOD sounding amps. I would buy another in a New York second. I won't say that about a heck of a lot of vintage Fenders, deal or no deal. Ditto the overpriced Marshals and the like. Keep the posts coming folks; lets start a Revival!!!!
I forgot to mention that a very nice tube amp designer kinda guy from Sweden I came across on another site was kind enough to send me the schematic print for this amp! The odds of coming across that are just incredibly small but lo and behold it happened thanks to this kind person. He flew it over to me via email, and its the right print. I share for those interested! My amp was made in 1973 from all the research I have done so far (speaker date codes and the like tell me this). So there ya go. If you have one of these amps that has four 6L6 in it(or similar octal)with a solid state preamp and it fits the rest of the above description I have given, this may help you out if you need a print. Let me know and I'll hook ya up! Gotta fly...talk at ya all later.

Hallo from Germany, I have the same amp and would love to return it to it's original state any chance of me getting hold of your schematic print? thanks in advance Pete
I have an earth Revival too, with one 15. I really loved the sound of it. When I took it in for a cap job I got it back unrecognizable as the tech had taken it upon himself to gut the preamp to simplify it. "You use pedals anyway right?" That was several years ago. I still have it but it's not the same and I've been using other amps. I'm really happy to have found you guys. Could I get an email of that schematic too please.
