I have this head and use it all the time. I don't have much information either. I'm not really technically oriented, I just play bass. Mine has a the matching cabinet (2 X 15) I've toured all over with it, sound guys always scratch their heads and ask, "where did you get that? I've never seen anyone using one of those" the most I have gathered is that it is a clone of the marshall superbass. (I don't know if this is actually true) The amp technician that serviced mine in Nashville said there was a filter that rolled off the low frequencies. It was to prevent you from blowing the cheap speakers in the cabinet. (I don't know this to be true either) Anyway, a friend moving away from Tennessee gave this amp to me when he left. I put a pair of eminence speakers in the cabinet had the amp serviced (tubes, bias, removal of the bass rolloff, if that really existed) I've been using it for 3 years and have played hundreds of shows with it. I love it, It could use a bit more power but I really do love it. it gets used a lot in multi-band situations where everyone on the bill uses the same drum set and bass amp. everyone that has used it really likes it too. So, I guess it is a pretty fine amp from my experience. It looks cool too. I need to take it in for new power cord, new tubes and bias pretty soon. If I learn anything new I will share it with you.
