White G-1000(?)

Just bought this Earth head the other day for $300. I've played it in the guitar shop I bought it at and it sounded beautifully loud. (I play a lot of heavy stuff so this is perfect. High On Fire, Baroness, Sleep, Electric Wizard, to name a few.) I've from numerous people that Earth amps are a great find and should be bought when possible. The one I have is probably modded. The tremolo controls don't work, but the reverb does. I use pedals for those sort of effects so this doesn't bother me.

Anyways, the reason I'm posting this is because I'm unsure of what model this is. I believe its a G-1000, but not entirely sure. I also wouldn't mind knowing what year this sucker was made. Here are some pics:

Just a follow up and some

Just a follow up and some tips for potential Earth buyers.

PROS: Very loud and warm sounding. Great overdriven sound when really cranked up. Great for blues and "fuzzy" distortion. The bass and treble switches are very responsive. The reverb sounds very cool.

CONS: Little to no features. Reverb, Bright switch, and tremolo. Tremolo doesn't work on mine, but that could be because of a modification. The Mid knob doesn't change the sound very much. No indication of how many ohms so cabinet-matching can be somewhat risky.

This amp is very loud, thick, and sounds great for bluesy, overdriven stuff. Its even great for heavier stuff, but only for like stoner, sludgey type stuff. (Early High on Fire, Sleep, Kyuss, and Black Sabbath.) If you're looking for that tight, Marshall mid-range sound (Metallica, Opeth, In Flames), this isn't the amp for you. This amp is great for what its made for.
